Case Submissions

Case Submissions

WFPICCS encourages all professionals in the pediatric intensive and critical care community to submit interesting or challenging clinical cases to the WFPICCS Congress 2022 for possible presentation and discussion. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your experiences, to present your cases in front of key opinion leaders in the field and to actively contribute to the Congress!

The case submission has been closed on February 14, 2022.

Please read the below information carefully before submitting your case.

Important Note: Case submissions are slightly different from abstract submissions as they do NOT have to base on scientific research studies. The submitters can submit cases that they come across during their daily routines and which they find interesting / challenging to share or which are rarely observed. The accepted cases will be presented / discussed in the “round table and/or case discussion” sessions while accepted oral abstracts will be included in the “oral abstract sessions”.

(If you want to submit an abstract instead of a case, please visit the abstract submission page which you can reach by clicking HERE.)

We welcome any case submissions relevant to pediatric critical and/or intensive care, from any socio-geographical region and from all professional groups. Submitted clinical cases should NOT have been published in any journal and/or online publications nor presented at any previous international event.

All submitted clinical cases will be reviewed for quality and suitability, and you will be informed if your submission is accepted for presentation/discussion.

When preparing your case(s) for submission, please ensure no identifying elements are present in order to protect privacy and confidentiality.

Below information is being collected within the submission form. Therefore, we would recommend you to make these details ready before starting your submission process, and simply copy & paste those details into the form where they are asked to be entered:
