Exciting Opportunity for a pediatric intensevist at the Mercy James Centre, Blantyre, Malawi, Africa

Are you looking to work overseas? Would you like to spend time living and working in a stable part of Africa? Are you interested in global medicine and curious to see how this links with PICUs? Are you a trained paediatric intensivist, anaesthetist with some PICU background or general anaesthetist/ intensivist with versatile skills?

Pediatric Critical Care Global Health Fellowship  (Malawi/USA)

An unexpected opening has occurred with our Pediatric Critical Care Global Health Fellowship and we are in need of a junior faculty member to start by Jan for six months in Malawi (Jan-June) with flexibility for an additional 6 months after the time in Malawi for an academic research fellowship at the University of Maryland.

Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated including if you know of junior faculty that would like to split time during the six months in Malawi.

Please have interested applicants send a CV to myself, Adrian Holloway or Ken Remy  at their convenience.  The fellow/junior faculty member can be from outside the US but must have completed critical care training.  If there is a third year fellow graduating in June 2020 that can dedicate 2-6 months in Malawi between January-June, this could also be considered.   As mentioned the start date until January 1 is flexible.  More info here
