The working group Sustainable Healthcare of the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC) is doing research to describe the current knowledge, attitudes, and practice of healthcare professionals on environmental sustainability in healthcare. This is an important topic as environmental degradation and the well-being of our planet is a growing concern, and there is limited research regarding the influence of the health sector.
The aim of the research is to explore Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) of healthcare professionals in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care on environmental sustainability, with the purpose of developing prospective interventions addressing domains within KAP.
