Traveling Around the PedsICU is an interactive, case-based webinar series that brings together pediatric critical care professionals from around the world to share real-world experiences, clinical challenges, and innovative solutions in the care of critically ill children.
Each session highlights unique cases from diverse global settings – spanning high, middle, and low-resource environments – fostering collaborative learning and a broader understanding of pediatric intensive care practices worldwide.
Led by expert panels and guest speakers, the series promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, knowledge exchange, and global community building across the pediatric ICU community.
This webinar discusses the current guidelines and management of severely ill pediatric patients with sepsis who are admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit. Dr. Harshvardhan, a PCCM trainee doctor at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Secunderabad, India and Drs. Leland and Brito, pediatric critical care fellows, and Dr. Randolph, pediatric critical care attending, from Boston Children’s Hospital will present cases and perspectives across diverse clinical environments. Dr. Tex Kissoon will discuss the recently released Phoenix Guidelines for Pediatric Sepsis and Shock.
