Shannon Leland, MD, MPH is a senior fellow in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

Her undergraduate degree is in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics (BSc, Washington State University), and she has a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.

Her academic research focuses on optimizing outcome assessments to advance clinical research in pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis.
