WFPICCS is committed to creating an inclusive platform for all health professionals working in pediatric intensive care, ensuring meaningful representation across disciplines. In line with this commitment, WFPICCS has established core committees co-chaired by physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals (AHPs), and has formed a dedicated AHP Committee to specifically address the needs and priorities of the global AHP community.
The AHP Committee plays a vital role in advancing WFPICCS’ mission by developing strategies that recognize and support the diverse roles of AHPs across regions. Its focus is on strengthening AHP engagement, visibility, and leadership within the organization and the broader field of pediatric critical care.
The AHP Committee is committed to fostering collaboration, supporting professional development, and ensuring that allied health voices are heard at every level of WFPICCS’ work.
WFPICCS is committed to ensuring that all professionals working in pediatric intensive care are represented, connected, and supported. Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) play a vital role in PICU care worldwide, and their expertise, perspectives, and leadership are essential to advancing our field.
To support this commitment, WFPICCS has established a dedicated Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Network, bringing together AHPs working in PICUs across regions and disciplines. The network continues to grow globally and provides a platform for connection, collaboration, and the sharing of educational initiatives developed by the WFPICCS AHP Committee.
We warmly invite AHPs working in pediatric intensive care to join the WFPICCS AHP Network and become part of this expanding global community. We also encourage you to share this opportunity with AHP colleagues who may be interested in connecting with peers worldwide and contributing to the future of pediatric critical care.
