The 6th World Congress of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies took place at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 1,450 delegates from more than 78 countries participated. The program featured 142 invited speakers, including 35 nursing and allied health professionals, and accepted 870 abstracts, with 125 selected for oral presentations. The congress emphasized integrating medical, nursing, and allied health perspectives, incorporating global health challenges, cutting-edge science, and critical care practices. Accepted abstracts were published in the March 2011 supplement of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
