The 2003 WFPICCS Congress in Boston represented a major international gathering of pediatric intensive care specialists, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals from across the globe. This congress aimed to share the latest clinical advances, research findings, and best practices in pediatric and neonatal critical care.
It continued the tradition of previous congresses by fostering multidisciplinary collaboration and education, with over 2,200 attendees representing approximately 78 countries. The event highlighted challenges in managing complex critical illnesses in children worldwide.
