Sarah Seaton is a perinatal and paediatric epidemiologist with a background in mathematics and medical statistics and is a chartered statistician. Her work has focused on a number of projects exploring the outcomes of babies born very preterm as they continue to grow up. She also has research interests in paediatric transport and children living with medical complexity.

Sarah supervises numerous PhD students on topics including health visiting, socioeconomic inequalities, pregnancy loss, and the impact of environment on child health. She is also the co-principal investigator of the Paediatric Intensive Care Audit Network.
