Piprim Basarah Yanuarso, MD, PaedConsultant is a pediatric cardiologist, who currently is President of the Indonesian Pediatric Society for the 2021-2024 period. Previously, he was appointed as the general secretary and head of organization of the Indonesian Pediatric Society. Piprim Basarah Yanuarso, MD, PaedConsultant completed his qualification as a medical doctor (MD) in 1991, and continued his journey as pediatrician in 2002 and as a pediatric cardiology consultant in 2011.

His interest in pediatric cardiology has led him to become a lecturer of Cardiology Division and develop a variety of research related to it, such as becoming a co-author of Transcatheter closure of perimembranous ventricular septal defect using the lifetech konar-multi functional occluder: early to midterm result of the Indonesia multicenter study in Global Heart 2022 and co-author of Pediatric COVID – 19: report from Indonesia
