Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Yale School of Medicine and an attending physician in the PICU at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. Trained in internal medicine and pediatrics before completing a PICU fellowship at Yale. I am currently a full-time clinician-educator with an interest in expanding critical care capacity in LIC settings. Currently active in curriculum development, educational support and mentoring for post-graduate programs in sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, I am part of a team that has developed and implemented a remote pediatric critical care curriculum for residents in Haiti and sub-Saharan Africa, with an international network of pediatric clinician educators to support this program (www.PCCiRL.com) and involvement in WFIPCCs educational initiatives.
