Georgie Pizimolas is a Senior Physiotherapist in the Critical Care team at the Queensland Children’s Hospital with over 18 years experience, working in both adult and paediatric intensive care.

Georgie is part of the PICU Allied Health Leadership Team and chairs the Australian Physiotherapy PICU Network. She delivers simulated learning to Australian universities as well as workforce training around the state of Queensland.

Georgie developed the protocol for the use of Ventilator Hyperinflation in paediatrics at QCH and is leading the clinical use of Lung Ultrasound for physiotherapy in PICU in Australia, including a research project investigating the use of ultrasound of the diaphragm in children.
