Caroline Yonaba is a dedicated pediatrician and expert in pediatric HIV and general pediatrics. Based in Burkina Faso, Caroline has been leading efforts in child health as the Head of the Pediatric HIV Unit at Yalgado Ouedraogo University Hospital since 2003 and serves as an Associate Professor at Joseph Ki Zerbo University.
With a strong academic background, Caroline has been a Lecturer and Professor of Pediatrics since 2012, following her medical education and pediatric residency at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. Her contributions extend beyond the classroom and hospital, serving as the Vice President of Réseau Enfants VIH Afrique Francophone (EVA) and working as a national and regional technical adviser on pediatric HIV.
With extensive experience in mentorship, research, and international collaborations, she has participated in numerous national and international conferences on child health and authored several scientific publications on infectious diseases in children and adolescents
