Angela Giusti is a Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Health in Rome. Her expertise includes public health research and interventions, applied epidemiology, qualitative and mixed-method research, intervention planning and evaluation, health promotion and community participation, as well as training and communication.

With a focus on maternal and child health, responsive fatherhood/parenthood, breastfeeding, infant feeding in emergencies, and issues related to migration and inequalities, Angela has dedicated her career to advancing evidence-based practices in these fields. Through her experience at national and international levels, she developed a deep interest in public health and is currently involved as a principal investigator in several projects.

Born in 1965, she holds a BSc in Midwifery, an MEd in Adult Education, a DU in Public and Community Health, and a PhD in Health Promotion. She teaches at various universities, is a person-centered counselor, and is a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).
