Alberto is a PICU Full Consultant at the Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias, Spain, with over 25 years of experience in pediatric and neonatal intensive care. He is the editor of 10 books—six focused on mechanical ventilation, three published in English—and the author of over 100 articles and 150 international conference presentations. Alberto has taught and coordinated more than 150 courses in CPR, pediatric trauma, transport, medical simulation, and mechanical ventilation worldwide, including Kuwait, Israel, Australia, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Egypt, and the UK. Notably, he has conducted NIV courses at the World PICU Congresses in Sydney and Istanbul.
