The Australian College of Critical Care Nurses Ltd (ACCCN) is a not for profit membership-based organisation representing nurses both members and non-members nationally. The College’s members work across the critical care clinical spectrum, principally in the area of intensive care, in clinical, educational, management, and research roles. ACCCN has branches in each state with two members of each State Management Committee forming the Board of ACCCN Ltd.
The College has strong professional relationships with other national peak nursing bodies and government agencies and individuals. Our relationships extend to the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS), The Intensive Care Foundation (ICF) and healthcare industry (including corporate members), as well as international critical care nursing organisations.
ACCCN is a foundation member of the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN) and a member association to the World Federation of Societies of Intensive Care and Critical Care Medicine (WFSICCM) and currently maintains a representative on WFCCN.
