Ashley Cowan is a dedicated healthcare professional with a profound passion for mental health. Currently working as the Clinical Nurse Facilitator for CAMHS, she oversees the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Inpatient Eating Disorder Services. After earning her nursing degree from the University of Calgary in 2016, Ashley joined Sidra in 2017.

Recently, she further enhanced her expertise by completing a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Glasgow. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Ashley chairs the Wellbeing Council, where she leads initiatives aimed at improving the wellbeing of both staff and the wider community. Her commitment to enhancing staff morale and promoting community mental health has established her as a vital asset to the organization. Ashley’s contributions in clinical practice, leadership, and community wellbeing initiatives reflect her integral role within Sidra Medicine.
